Who should sponsor innovation ?

Sponsoring an idea is relatively easy, as it's a one time sell. But, try getting a lot of ideas approved especially if they are coming from all areas of the organization. That's is a far tougher challenge.

Now imagine that you have multiple ideas that would be better served to bundle them together. How would you get that approved ?  It can get complicated and often times, this is where innovation begins to stall.
